Returning back to the Japanese content we all know and hold dearly, this Labour Day TADA’s bringing you a show light on the action and heavy on the laughs! It’s the Hong Kong-English dub of LINE Town; aired multiple times on Disney XD Asia (with the last airing being around November to December 2019 at 6:00PM). Kind of a strange show to put on an action-centric channel, wouldn’t you say…?

But anyways, before we introduce LINE Town, we need to introduce the LINE Friends. Starring Cony, Moon, James and Brown as our main characters, they were originally created as Stickers – little pictures you tap on to send of which they all come in packs – in the LINE social messaging app (popular among digital natives from Japan).

While the concept has spread to other apps like WhatsApp and Telegram; In the long run LINE Friends will still be remembered as many efforts to market it (including tie-ins with shopping centres and junk food) are generally visible, including this very show! This is LINE Town, where the LINE Friends get up to all sorts of silly antics. Each half-hour episode has two self-contained parts (sometimes one like with the LINE Five) which can be consumed by both kids and adults.

So, during this pandemic rife with lockdowns, fall in LINE with LINE Town – where you can shoot for the Moon and turn that Brown upside down!
